I'm a poet, I'm a picker, I'm a prophet, I'm a pusher.  I'm a pilgrim, a preacher, and a problem when I'm stoned.  I'm a walking contradiction, partly truth, and partly fiction, taking every wrong direction on that lonely way back home.  I have tasted good and evil in your bedrooms and your bars and I've traded in tomorrow for today.  Running from my devils and reaching for the stars and losing all I loved along the way.  But if this world keeps right on turning, for the better or the worse and all I ever get is older and around, from the rocking of the cradle to the the rolling of the hearse, the going up was worth the coming down.

I am a single parent with 4 children and a care giver for a disabled old friend who I used to be married to a long time ago. Recently, my first wife, my intended third wife and myself have set up housekeeping together along with our 5 children in a great big old house that we can't afford or take care of.  Not to mention the 4 cats, one dog and that other little furry thing in the cage.

About that third wife; she is a firebreathing Irish lass that has taught me for the first time in my life that I am not always right and that at 56 years old, I might actually have something to learn by listening. I love her to death.  Her name is Rose and her nickname on Zaadz is Young One.

My daughter is Ginny and her name on Zaadz is peace, love.happiness.  She is a skilled poet and writer with much vision.

My first wife is Lois and on Zaadz she is known as giggles. She has been disabled with MS for many years and we have to scribe for her but she retains her good outlook on life and we love her.

My working background is in the mechanical/industrial arena and I taught in vocational high school for a while.  I am pragmatic, short tempered, and egotistical.  (I'm trying man, be patient.)  As a young man I enjoyed my time in the Boy Scouts and 6 years in the Navy.  Traveling the world from a chair via short wave radio has always been a great adventure and learning experience.  It is no doubt why I am so excited at the prospect of meeting new people around the world.

I studied commercial photography at Antonellis' in Phila, design drafting at Delaware Tech and completed various coursework at U. of D. and Del. State College while working towards a permanent teaching certificate, a goal which is and shall remain, uncompleted.

I have only recently been introduced to the power of the Internet
and watching my kids converse for hours on the computer made me realize that I, too, could satisfy my craving for dialog with other people and so I began my search for a place to do so. I was however hoping for something more than idle chit chat with the person down the block.

Somehow I ended up with Zaadz on the screen.  Not only a place to exchange thoughts but a place with a purpose that stirs old feelings long dead.

So here I am and I welcome the sharing with anyone, anywhere. I think I'm a little old to change the world but maybe my kids can. Hope to introduce them to y'all some day.

Just a little note: I am updating today, 6-8-07.

Not much has changed except for the sentences regarding my living arrangements.  Have not been on-line much lately because KIDS ARE BIG TIME WORK.
